Abstract
【解決手段】 車両用軸継手14において、鋳鉄製のヨーク20におけるU字状部21の通孔22の外側開口に近接する外面に先端尖り工具100を打ち込んで該通孔22の外側開口寄りの内周面に張出し変形部22Aを形成し、この張出し変形部22Aにより軸受キャップ23の外端部を位置決めするもの。

Description
(a)鋳造製のヨークであり、U字状部の通孔の外側開口に近接する外面に先端尖り工具を打ち込んで該通孔の外側開口寄りの内周面に張出し変形部を形成できる。この張出し変形部は、該通孔に装填されている軸受キャップの外端部に及ぶように容易に形成でき、軸受キャップの外端部を隙間なく位置決め固定できる。
(b)ヨークにおけるU字状部の通孔の周方向複数位置に張出し変形部を形成することにより、軸受キャップの外端部をその周方向の全域でバランス良く、安定的に位置決め固定できる。
(1)ヨーク20とヨーク30を同軸配置し、それらのU字状部21、31を交差配置し、スパイダ40の十字をなす一方の直径上で対となる各ピン41の端部41Aをヨーク20のU字状部21の通孔22にその内側開口端から装填するとともに、スパイダ40の十字をなす他方の直径上で対となる各ピン41の端部41Aをヨーク30のU字状部31の通孔32にその内側開口端から装填する。このとき、各ピン41の根元まわりにはシールリング25、35が被着される。
(a)鋳造製のヨーク20、30であり、U字状部21、31の通孔22、32の外側開口に近接する外面に先端尖り工具100を打ち込んで該通孔22、32の外側開口寄りの内周面に張出し変形部22A、32Aを形成できる。この張出し変形部22A、32Aは、該通孔22、32に装填されている軸受キャップ23、33の外端部に及ぶように容易に形成でき、軸受キャップ23、33の外端部を隙間なく位置決め固定できる。

Claims (2)
- 十字形のスパイダと、このスパイダの対となる各ピンの端部を受けるU字状部を有するヨークとを有し、スパイダの各ピンの端部がヨークのU字状部の通孔に装填した軸受キャップ内に回転自在に嵌挿され、ヨークとスパイダとを揺動自在に連結した車両用軸継手において、
鋳造製のヨークにおけるU字状部の通孔の外側開口に近接する外面に先端尖り工具を打ち込んで該通孔の外側開口寄りの内周面に張出し変形部を形成し、この張出し変形部により軸受キャップの外端部を位置決めすることを特徴とする車両用軸継手。 - 前記ヨークにおけるU字状部の通孔の周方向複数位置に張出し変形部を形成してなる請求項1に記載の車両用軸継手。
