Abstract

Un instrumento para aplicar grapas de unión que comprende un par de asideros pivotados alrededor de un punto de articulación y que se extienden más allá del punto de articulación para formar un par de brazos de cierre de grapas que tienen caras interiores opuestas, teniendo cada uno de dichos brazos un canal rebajado de recepción de grapa en la cara interior del mismo que se extiende desde la punta delantera de dicho brazo hacia atrás hacia dicho punto de articulación, teniendo dicho canal una longitud al menos igual a la longitud de la grapa a aplicarse por dicho instrumento, teniendo cada canal un rebaje cilíndrico a través de la base del mismo separado de la punta de dicho brazo, siendo mayor la profundidad del canal delante de dicho rebaje que detrás de dicho rebaje.
