Abstract

Segmento de pistón, caracterizado porque comprende un cuerpo metálico anular partido con paredes laterales axiales para asentarse en una ranura de pistón y una superficie periférica exterior, una ranura que se extiende totalmente alrededor de dicha superficie periférica exterior y definida en parte por zonas espaciadas hacia éste dispuestas en dicha superficie, una banda de material resistente al desgaste en dicha ranura para cooperación de sellado con una pared de cilindro, estando dichas zonas perspectivamente junto a bordes axiales opuestos de dicha banda, y una estructura de juntas solapada en los extremos partidos del segmento que comprenden superficies planas opuestas que se extienden esencialmente de forma diagonal del cuerpo de segmento e inclinadas en un ángulo agudo respecto del plano de dicho segmento, terminando dichas superficies en dicha superficie periférica exterior dentro de una primera zona de dichas zonas.
