Abstract

Una composición farmacéutica que comprende misoprostol o una sal farmacéuticamente aceptable del mismo, para uso en un tratamiento que comprende maduración cervical o inducción del trabajo de parto, que tiene un contenido de 0,5 - 50 μg de misoprostol, o una cantidad equivalente de sal farmacéuticamente aceptable del mismo, en donde dicha composición farmacéutica es adecuada para una forma de administración seleccionada entre administración sublingual y oral, y en donde dicha composición permite la dispersión de una o más de dichas composiciones farmacéuticas en 100 ml de agua a 25ºC en 3 minutos con agitación, proporcionando así una dispersión; pasando dicha dispersión a través de un tamiz con una abertura de malla nominal de 710 μm.
