Abstract
Un dispositivo (10) de diodo emisor de luz, que comprende: una placa (12) de guiado de la luz, una pluralidad de LEDs (14) para emitir luz en la placa de guiado de la luz, una pluralidad de estructuras (20) de desacoplamiento adaptadas para extraer la luz de la placa de guiado de la luz, y un primer y un segundo electrodos (22, 24) conectados a los LEDs, en donde el primer electrodo está dispuesto en el lado (28) superior de la placa de guiado de la luz y el segundo electrodo está dispuesto en el lado (30) inferior de la placa de guiado de la luz, de manera que la placa de guiado de la luz está dispuesta entre los electrodos, en donde la dirección "superior" se refiere a la dirección de emisión de luz principal del dispositivo de iluminación.
