Abstract
Un procedimiento para la fabricación de un hilo torcido muy elástico a partir de hilos al menos en parte totalmente sintéticos o semisintéticos, para lo cual, después de un proceso de torsión en un primer sentido, se lleva a cabo un tratamiento térmico, a continuación del cual se realiza una torsión en sentido contrario y a mayor número de vueltas que durante el primer retorcido, caracterizado por producirse fibras cortadas a partir de fibras sin fin, por que a partir de las fibras cortadas se hila un hilo por que varios de estos hilos se retuercen juntos, siendo el sentido de la torsión del hilo torcido la misma que la de la torsión durante la hilatura, y por que la torsión en sentido contrario se realiza hasta sobrepasar el punto neutro en tal magnitud, que la torsión remanente en el hilo torcido sea prácticamente la misma que la torsión de los hilos individuales, si bien opuesta a la misma.
