Abstract

Uso como medio auxiliar de agarre para la manipulación de objetos en el ámbito del deporte y del mantenimiento físico (fitness) de un elemento compuesto planiforme con a) al menos una capa de un material no tejido o un tejido a base de microfibras con una finura de como máximo 1,0 dtex, b) al menos una capa de un material que amortigua cargas de presión y c) al menos una capa de un material polimérico cuyo coeficiente de fricción estática sobre una superficie dada del objeto que va a manipularse se encuentra al menos el 30 % por encima del coeficiente de fricción estática de la capa a) sobre la misma superficie, medido en condiciones idénticas, formando las capas a) y c) las capas exteriores del elemento compuesto que cubren la capa b) sobre respectivamente una de sus superficies, estando dispuesta la capa a) sobre el lado orientado a la mano de un usuario y estando dispuesta la capa c) en el lado orientado al objeto que va a manipularse y en el lado alejado de la mano del usuario.

A través de la utilización de agentes de expansión químicos, que liberan gases por debajo de la temperatura de vulcanización del caucho, se pueden obtener materiales esponjados resistentes a la presión. El policloropreno se puede procesar con otros polímeros para dar lugar a mezclas de polímeros. Con caucho natural o incluso polibutadieno se puede mejorar la flexibilidad a baja temperatura y simultáneamente disminuir los costes y con caucho de estireno/butadieno se puede reducir la tendencia a la cristalización que puede dar lugar a una fragilidad.
En el caucho de cloropreno espumado están repartidas de manera uniforme muchas pequeñas burbujas de gas, por lo cual este material posee excelentes propiedades de aislamiento térmicas.
Los cauchos de cloropreno pueden obtenerse con las denominación Neoprene® de la empresa DuPont y con las denominación Baypren® de la empresa Lanxess. En algunos casos, han demostrado su eficacia en los elementos compuestos de acuerdo con la invención para la capa c) productos a base de caucho de cloropreno como los que pueden obtenerse de la empresa Sedo Chemicals Neoprene GmbH con las denominaciones Neopren® LS, S, HS y HHS. A este respecto, la presión de deformación aumenta hasta alcanzar un recalcado del 25 %, en este orden de 15-35 a 55-80 kPa (medido según la norma ASTM D-1056).
Los elementos compuestos de acuerdo con la invención presentan al menos cada una de las capas a), b) y c); sin embargo, también es perfectamente posible prever varias de estas capas para ajustar el perfil de utilización según el uso pretendido o al respectivo usuario.
Dependiendo del número de las capas, también se produce el grosor total de los elementos de acuerdo con la invención, que se encuentra en general entre 2 y 25 mm, preferentemente en el intervalo de 3 a 15 mm, de manera especialmente ventajosa en el intervalo de 3 a 10 mm.
Las capas de los elementos compuestos de acuerdo con la invención se unen entre sí de manera duradera de una forma conocida en sí por pegado u otro procedimiento adecuado. La unión debe presentar la solidez suficiente para evitar una delaminación durante el uso. En este caso, han demostrado ser adecuados los procedimientos de adhesión; pero el experto también conoce otros procedimientos, como poder unir entre sí capas del tipo a) a c) con la solidez suficiente. Aquí cabe mencionar solo de manera representativa el laminado como un ejemplo.
Las dimensiones de los elementos compuestos de acuerdo con la invención no están sujetos en sí a ninguna limitación especial y la forma superficial puede adoptar cualquier estructura geométrica, por ejemplo, rectangular, cuadrada, elíptica, circular, ovalada u otras formas conocidas.
Para el uso especialmente preferente en el ámbito del deporte y del mantenimiento físico, han demostrado su eficacia en general formas cuadradas o rectangulares, puesto que con formas de este tipo pueden rodearse de manera especialmente buena y segura, por ejemplo, barras de pesas o largueros o similares de aparatos de mantenimiento físico. Las dimensiones de los elementos compuestos de acuerdo con la invención deberían seleccionarse de manera que la superficie de la mano del usuario repose lo máximo posible sobre el elemento compuesto cuando este se esté utilizando. Elementos planiformes con dimensiones en el intervalo de 80 a 180 mm en las dos direcciones de la extensión plana en un grosor total como se ha descrito anteriormente han demostrado ser especialmente ventajosos.
Evidentemente, en el caso del uso no de acuerdo con la invención de elementos compuestos correspondientes como colchonetas de deporte o de gimnasia, son posibles y precisas otras medidas.
Los bordes y esquinas de los elementos compuestos de acuerdo con la invención pueden redondearse preferentemente para posibilitar un uso más agradable.
De la presente descripción se deduce que las capas a) y c) forman las capas exteriores del elemento compuesto, las cuales cubren la capa b) sobre respectivamente una de sus superficies. Durante la aplicación, el elemento se utiliza de tal manera que la capa a) señala hacia la superficie de la mano del usuario y la capa c) señala hacia la superficie del objeto que va a manipularse.
Las capas de los elementos compuestos de acuerdo con la invención pueden proveerse de impresiones o entintarse para fines publicitarios o para fines de distinción de diferentes tipos de productos (por ejemplo, distinta dureza o grosor total).
Además, los elementos compuestos pueden proveerse en el lado orientado a la mano de elementos de fijación con los que puede garantizarse un apoyo mejorado de los elementos compuestos en la mano del usuario. En este caso, se mencionan bucles o elementos similares solo a modo de ejemplo.
Los elementos compuestos de acuerdo con la invención son apropiados en general para la manipulación de objetos de cualquier tipo en los que se pretenda, por una parte, una utilización agradable y, por otra parte, un agarre seguro. A través de la combinación de las distintas capas es fácilmente posible una adaptación individual a la utilización pretendida.
