Abstract

Method of producing bodies in the form of regenerated cellulose by extruding viscose into an aqueous spinning bath, preferably containing from about 10% to 25% sodium sulfate, from about 4% to 15% zinc sulfate and up to about 11% % sulfuric acid, characterized in that a viscose having a sodium chloride salt test of at least about 6 is expelled into the bath in the presence of glyoxal.
