Abstract
Método y sistema para detección y clasificación de vehículos. La presente invención se refiere a un método y un sistema de detección y clasificación de vehículos en vías que comprenden un par de cortinas fotoeléctricas instaladas a ambos lados de la vía, donde cada una de las cortinas comprende a su vez una vertical de sensores que se encuentran comunicados entre sí, formando pares de sensores, de tal manera que cuando un vehículo atraviesa el plano que comprende ambas cortinas fotoeléctricas, el método comprende los pasos de: detectar, mediante un procesador conectado a las cortinas fotoeléctricas, una primera interrupción de la comunicación entre un primer par de sensores; detectar la presencia de la primera rueda del vehículo en función de una segunda interrupción de la comunicación entre un par de sensores inferiores; y una vez detectada la presencia de la primera rueda del vehículo, medir la altura del vehículo en función de los pares de sensores interrumpidos en ese instante.
