Abstract

Procedimiento perfeccionado de aglomeración de finos de minerales y análogos conteniendo hierro, tales como finos de mineral y polvos de altos hornos, que consiste esencialmente en efectuar la mezcla de partículas del producto pulverulento a aglomerar y elementos metálicos de aglomeración, moldear la mezcla en forma de bloques, y provocar en presencia de humedad la oxidación de dichos elementos metálicos para aprovecharse, por una parte, de las propiedades de trabazón de los productos de oxidación de los indicados elementos para unir las partículas del producto a aglomerar y, por otra parte, del desprendimiento natural de calor provocado por esta oxidación para acelerar el secado de los mencionados bloques.
