Abstract

Procedimiento para producir hidroxietilocelulosa que comprende hacer pasar continuamente una capa de fibras de alcali-celulosa en partículas a través de una cámara que contiene óxido de etileno gaseoso, soportar la capa sobre un transportador vibratorio que somete la capa a una sucesión de impulsos de vibración, levantar la capa y dejarla caer al transportador muchas veces en su paso a través de la cámara, haciendo que el óxido de etileno gaseoso penetre en la capa y reaccione uniformemente con las fibras.
