Abstract

Un procedimiento de producción de 2-etil-4-(2,2,3-trimetil-3-ciclopenten-l-il)-2-butenal (levosandal) útil como perfume o intermedio para perfumes con un rendimiento elevado y una selectividad elevada mediante la condensación aldólica cruzada entre canfolenal y butanal en presencia de una cantidad controlada de un alcohol alifático primario o secundario con 1 a 12 átomos de carbono usando un catalizador bifuncional heterogéneo, en el que la cantidad controlada de un alcohol alifático se encuentra entre 0,3 y 8 g de alcohol alifático por gramo del catalizador.
