Abstract
Funcionalización de partículas magnéticas mediante sustitución nucleofílica de haluros orgánicos.#La presente invención desarrolla un método para la funcionalización de partículas magnéticas (tamaños entre 0.001 - 100{mi}m) como por ejemplo: partículas de magnetita Fe{sub,3}O{sub,4}, o de maghemita {ga}-Fe{sub,2}O{sub,3}, mediante la sustitución nucleofílica de derivados halogenados. Estos derivados son compuestos orgánicos que contienen uno o más halógenos en su molécula. Algunos ejemplos de haluros orgánicos capaces de reaccionar con las partículas magnéticas son epiclorhidrina, cloruro de triazina, cloruro y bromuro de cianógeno, cloruro de tosilo u otros mono/di/poli haluros orgánicos capaces de reaccionar con grupos OH. Mediante la aplicación de este método las partículas quedan modificadas con grupos reactivos, como son grupos epóxido, ciano, cloruro o tosilo que permiten unir covalentemente moléculas biológicas tales como proteínas, enzimas, ADN, ARN y anticuerpos.
