Abstract
Agente bacteriostático para suspensiones bacterianas. Se describe una composición bacteriostática para la fabricación de suspensiones bacterianas o suspensiones de proteínas y el uso de las citadas suspensiones en formulaciones biocidas y/o fitosanitarios verdes que comprenden una disolución acuosa de un poliol y un agente dispersante en donde la relación poliol/agente dispersante está comprendida entre 30:1 (peso/peso) y 110:1 (peso/peso). Se describen suspensiones con un sólido inerte con un tamaño de partícula menor a 40 micras y formulaciones biocidas que comprende un material biológico como proteínas y cepas bacterianas. Se describen formulaciones biocidas de Bacillus subtillis y cistatina.
Description
Formulación biocida libre de agentes conservantes
La presente invención describe formulación biocida libre de agentes conservantes.
En los últimos años existe un interés por el desarrollo de productos fitosanitarios respetuosos con el medio ambiente que no contenga componentes tóxicos para el ser humano ni para el ecosistema, desarrollándose los biocidas verdes. Entre los biocidas verdes destacan las diferentes familias, especies y cepas de bacterias con actividad biocida, como por ejemplo
10 Bacillus spp., Pseudomonas spp. o levaduras. Asimismo, se ha descrito la actividad biocida de diferentes proteínas con propiedades insecticidas como por ejemplo las cistatinas.
El material biológico se almacena adsorbido en sustratos inertes, tales como el caolín, sílice, zeolitas, óxidos de zinc, arcillas, tierra de diatomeas, polisacáridos o carbonatos.
Para el uso de los microorganismos en formulaciones líquidas es necesario formular una 15 suspensión estable, es decir, que con el tiempo no se produzcan decantaciones o precipitaciones del material inerte.
Es conocido que las soluciones acuosas deben contener agentes bacteriostáticos o conservantes para evitar la contaminación microbiana. Es conocido el uso de parabenos, azidas o isotiozolina para este fin. Sin embargo, estos productos son tóxicos y contaminantes
20 del medio ambiente y, en consecuencia, no son adecuados para ser usados en “biocidas /fitosanitarios verdes”.
Por lo expuesto anteriormente, las formulaciones líquidas que comprenden material biológico tienen diferentes inconvenientes:
-Las disoluciones deben ser homogéneas y no deben presentar separación de fases en el 25 tiempo,
-Las formulaciones deben mantener su actividad biocida en el tiempo, es decir, el microorganismo debe ser viable durante al menos dos años,
-Las formulaciones no deben contaminarse con microorganismos exógenos sin usar agentes bactericidas o conservantes.

Los estudios de estabilidad acelerados a 54ºC no produjeron una disminución en la viabilidad de los microrganismos a los 14 días y estos resultados garantizan que la suspensión bacteriana a temperatura ambiente (20ºC) será estable durante al menos 2 años.
Ejemplo 1. Actividad bacteriostática las mezclas poliol/agente dispersante
Se prepararon diferentes muestras variando la relación de poliol/agente dispersante en agua. Las muestras se almacenaron en botella cerrada a 20ºC, durante 6 meses. Se determinaron las unidades formadoras de colonia según el método descrito en la US Pharmacopeia.

Las muestras se centrifugaron durante 15 minutos a 1735 rpm con un agitador tipo Cowles.
Los resultados muestran que cuando se utiliza como disperesante naftalensulfonato condesado o policarboxilato sódico, tras a centrifugación no se observa la precipitación de los 5 sólidos dispersados.
La muestras 12 y 22, sin agentes dispersantes, presentaron la precipitación del caolín.
En los demás casos se observó la presencia de una espuma persistente o la presencia de sólidos precipitados
10 Ejemplo 3. Estabilidad la suspensiones en función del contenido de sólidos.
Se prepararon diferentes suspensiones utilizando policarboxilato sódico (Emulson AG PS BV 4) como agente dispersante. Se adicionaron diferentes cantidades de sólido inerte.

No observándose precipitados después de centrifugar durante 15 minutos a 1735 rpm.
Ejemplo 4. Fabricación de las suspensiones bacterianas con actividad biocida
5 0,10 gramos de caolín que contenía 10 10 ufc/g de Bacillus subtilis cepa IAB, obtenida según ES24002726, se disolvió en agua destilada, se adicionaron los agentes dispersantes y se homogenizó la suspensión. Posteriormente, la suspensión se diluyó 100 gramos (cps) con polioles. El pH de la suspensión se ajustó a pH 7 con ácido cítrico. La concentración de la suspensión obtenida fueron 107 ufc/g.
