Abstract

Culata para motores de combustión interna refrigerados por agua y dotados de cilindros dispuestos en filas, cuya culata se puede fabricar por el procedimiento de fundición a presión y está provista de varias cámaras de agua a manera de nichos que se pueden conectar a la camisa de refrigeración del bloque de cilindros y que están unidas entre sí por medio de canales transversales y de un canal longitudinal lateral, caracterizada porque todas las cámaras de agua a manera de nichos se pueden moldear hacia el plano de separación entre la culata y el bloque de cilindros y están dispuestas sustancialmente en círculo en torno a las cámaras de combustión, porque la limitación superior del canal longitudinal es el punto más alto de las cámaras de agua y de los canales y porque el canal longitudinal presenta una salida de agua (abertura frontal).
