Abstract
Un método para aplicar un sistema de recubrimiento de dos capas caracterizado porque el método comprende proporcionar una primera composición que comprende una primera resina de polímero a granel, un catalizador, y un poliol en una cantidad de 10 a 70 por ciento en peso de la primera composición y una segunda composición de recubrimiento que comprende una segunda resina de polímero a granel y un isocianato y un sustrato para ser recubierto, 1) aplicar la primera composición de recubrimiento al sustrato para formar una primera capa de recubrimiento y 2) aplicar la segunda composición de recubrimiento a la primera composición de recubrimiento para formar una segunda capa de recubrimiento tal que se forma una capa límite entre la primera y la segunda capa de recubrimiento y que el producto de reacción del poliol y el isocianato se cataliza por el catalizador llevado a cabo a una temperatura de reacción de la capa límite de 20° a 24 °C y que tiene un espesor de 2.54 a 12.7 μm (0.1 a 0.5 milésimas de pulgada), cuando dichas primera y segunda resinas de polímero a granel se curan a unas temperaturas de curado a granel de 27 °C o más altas.
