Abstract

Un método de infiltración de agua de mar que utiliza una unidad (11) de absorción de infiltración de agua, la cual se conforma con anterioridad y está provista de una tubería (12) de absorción de agua embebida en una capa (13) de grava que conforma una capa profunda de la capa de filtración de arena, y una tubería (14) de lavado a contracorriente embebida en una capa (15) de arena que conforma una capa intermedia y una capa superficial de la capa de filtración de arena, y una tubería (16) de succión de agua que está situada por encima de la capa (15) de arena. Un número deseado de unidades (11) de absorción de infiltración de agua se combinan para conformar una capa de filtración de arena en un punto de instalación situado sobre un fondo oceánico, y dichas unidades absorben agua del mar que ha sufrido infiltración natural en la capa de filtración de arena y ésta se introduce en la tubería (12) de absorción de agua. La velocidad de infiltración de agua de mar se fija en menos de 400 m/día. Se inyecta agua o aire desde la tubería (14) de lavado a contracorriente para agitar y expulsar por la capa superficial mediante soplado hacia arriba organismos vivos o sedimentos atrapados en capas intermedias de la capa de filtración de arena, y el agua agitada es succionada por una tubería (16) de succión y recuperada.
