Abstract

Casco de protección perfeccionado, de estructura compuesta, destinado más específicamente a los usuarios de vehículos de dos ruedas, caracterizado por el hecho de que la parte exterior es realizada por acoplamiento de un casquete superior rígido, obtenido por inyección de policarbonatos o de ABS, moldeo de poliésteres estratificados, solidario de una coquilla inferior semi-rígida de materia plástica, del tipo PVC plastificado o de poliuretano termoplástico inyectado, que lleva prolongaciones a nivel de las orejas, estando asegurado el acoplamiento por pegado y/o remachado o engrapado, estado la parte interior que amortigua los choques, asimismo constituida por dos elementos, que comprenden un amortiguador superior rígido, por ejemplo de poliestireno expandido, de masa volumétrica comprendida entre 15 y 20 g/dm3 o de poliuretano semi-rígido expandido, de masa volumétrica comprendida entre 30 y 120 g/dm3, de forma hemisférica, y un amortiguador inferior en forma de anillo de espuma semi-rígida de poliuretano, por ejemplo.
