DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The objective of the covering, closing and the like device of the present invention is to solve the drawbacks of the devices known in the art, by providing a covering device with a simple structural configuration that ensures safer handling.

The covering, closing device and the like, object of the present invention, is of the type comprising a fixed outer frame, a movable cover which in the closing position is coupled on the frame, said cover being able to slide on the frame until its closing and pivoting position around one of its ends until it is in a stable opening position, guiding means of the lid folding movement that include a first pair of guides arranged at its folding end and a second pair of guides arranged in the frame, both pairs of guides being able to cooperate with each other during the folding of the lid, and fixing means in a stable position of opening of the lid, and is characterized by the fact that said fixing means in A stable opening position is integrated in the same body with the respective guides of the guiding means of the cover folding movement.

In this way, the integration of said cover fixing means in an opening position and of the guiding means of the rotary movement of the cover make it possible to obtain a structurally simpler and lighter covering device by decreasing the number of components, to while ensuring safer handling.

Advantageously, the first pair of cover guides comprises an elongated stud provided with a rounded end directed downwards and an end edge belonging to the rear part of the cover, while the second pair of frame guides comprises a divided concave semicircular surface. in two halves, front and rear, the front half of said concave surface being able to receive the end of the pin and the rear part suitable for receiving said rear edge of the lid during the rotation movement of the lid.

Preferably, the fixing means in a stable opening position comprise a recess made in the concave semicircular surface of the second pair of frame guides, intended to receive said end edge belonging to the back of the cover.

Advantageously, the pin and the rear edge of the lid comprise a geometric configuration such that they allow the lid to be placed in equilibrium in a maximum opening position greater than 90 ° with respect to the horizontal, said rear edge being fitted in said groove.

Also advantageously, the bumper and the rear edge of the lid comprise a geometric configuration such that they allow the lid to be placed in equilibrium in an intermediate opening position to avoid unwanted displacement of the lid during the closing operation, being supported simultaneously said stud on the concave front half and said trailing edge on the concave rear half. In this way, the correct closing of the cover in the frame is ensured.

DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to Figures 1 to 6, the covering device 1 of the invention comprises a fixed outer frame 2, and a movable cover 3 which in the closed position is coupled on the frame 2, said cover 3 being able to slide over the frame 2 to its closed position (see figure 2) and to pivot around one of its ends until it is in a stable opening position (see figure 1).

The device 1 also comprises means for guiding the folding movement of the cover 3 which include a first pair of guides 4 disposed at its folding end and a second pair of guides 5 arranged in the frame 2, both pairs of guides 4, 5 likely to cooperate with each other during the lid 3.

As shown in Figure 4, the first pair of guides 4 of the cover 3 comprise an elongated stud 4a provided with a rounded end directed downwards and an end edge 4b belonging to the rear part of the cover 3.

As shown in Figure 6, the second pair of guides 5 of the frame 2 comprise a concave semicircular surface divided into two halves, front 5a and rear 5b, the front half 5a of said concave surface being able to receive the end of the stud. 4a and the back 5b suitable for receiving said rear edge 4b of the cover 3 during the rotation movement of the cover 3.

The device 1 also comprises fixing means in a stable opening position comprising a groove 5c made in the concave semicircular surface 5a, 5b of the second pair of guides 5 of the frame 2, intended to receive said end edge 4b belonging to the rear of the cover 3.

Therefore, said fixing means 5c, 4b in a stable opening position are integrated in the same body with the respective guides 4.5 of the guiding means of the folding movement of the cover 3. Thus, said integration allows Obtain a structurally simpler and lighter covering device 1 by decreasing the number of components, while ensuring safer handling.

As can be seen in Figures 1 and 7, the opening operation of the cover 3 is carried out by lifting it from one of its ends, so that said cover 3 can pivot around the opposite end of lifting. The pin 4a and the rear edge 4b of the cover 3 comprise a geometric configuration such that they allow the lid 3 to be placed in equilibrium in a maximum opening position greater than 90 ° with respect to the horizontal, said rear edge 4b being fitted in said slit 5c.

Consequently, when the lid 3 is completely open, a blocking effect is produced that prevents accidentally dropping the lid 3. To unlock the lid 3 it is necessary to pull it in the vertical direction and upwards (see figure 8).

As shown in figures 9 and 10, the placement of the cover 3 is carried out by sliding the guides 6 of the cover 3 over the guides 5 of the frame 2 until reaching the closed position (see figure 10).

The stud 4a and the rear edge 4b of the cover 3 comprise a geometric configuration such that they allow the lid 3 to be placed in equilibrium in an intermediate opening position (see figure 9) to avoid unwanted displacement of the cover 3 during the closing operation, said pin 4a being simultaneously supported on the concave front half 5a and said rear edge 4b on the concave rear half 5b. In this way, the correct closure of the cover 3 in the frame 2 is ensured.

On the other hand, for greater security, the covering device 1 comprises a closing device 6, as can be seen in Figures 2 and 3.

Referring to Figures 1 and 2, the covering device 1 also comprises anchoring means 7 on the floor arranged at the bottom
