Abstract

Un procedimiento para separar una parafina normal de una mezcla de hidrocarburos, que comprende poner en contacto una mezcla de hidrocarburos normalmente líquidos que contenga una parafina normal de una mezcla de hidrocarburos, que comprende poner en contacto una mezcla de hidrocarburos normalmente líquidos que contenga una parafina normal y por la menos un hidrocarburo del grupo de los hidrocarburos de cadena ramificada y cíclicos con un absorbente sólido que tenga una potencia elevada para absorber selectivamente parafinas normales de su mezcla con hidrocarburos de cadena ramificada y cíclicos en una zona de absorción a una presión a la que dicha mezcla se mantenga en fase líquida, la separación de un producto hidrocarburado de un contenido disminuido en parafina normal de la zona de absorción y la desorción de la parafina normal absorbida mediante contacto del sólido absorbente que contiene la parafina con un desorbente formado esencialmente de una parafina normal por lo menosde cuatro átomos de carbono por molécula y de peso molecular inferior al de dicha parafina absorbida a una presión a la que dicho desorbente se mantenga en fase líquida.
