Procedimiento par ala preparación de tereftalatos de polimetileno macromoleculares a partir de derivados formadores de ester de ácido tereftálico y glicoles, caracterizado porque al menos el intercambio de ester se realiza en presencia de bases orgánicas, así como de sus sales, en calidad de catalizador, en las cuales un grupo OH está unido a radicales orgánicos a través de un elemento de los grupos 5º y 6º del Sistema Periódico de Elementos con un peso atómico máximo de 36.
