Abstract

Procedimiento de cierre de un contenedor (1) realizado en material termoplástico termoformado y provisto de un reborde periférico (6) con la ayuda de un opérculo (5) realizado en material termoplástico flexible, conteniendo el indicado contenedor un producto alimentario que incluye elementos (22) de material termofusible susceptibles de desprenderse, procedimiento que comprende las etapas que consisten en: - colocar el indicado opérculo sobre el mencionado contenedor; - formar simultáneamente dos cordones de soldadura periféricos (7, 8) sustancialmente paralelos, entre el reborde y el opérculo, con el fin de formar un depósito entre la película y el reborde, entre los cordones de soldadura; y - fundir el elemento (22) extendido sobre el reborde del contenedor en el emplazamiento de un cordón de soldadura, y hacer fluir al menos una parte hacia el indicado depósito.

Description

Envase estanco para productos alimentarios.
La presente invención se refiere a un envase estanco para productos alimentarios, y más particularmente a un envase que comprende un contenedor y un opérculo soldado en un reborde periférico del contenedor a lo largo de un primer cordón de soldadura periférico.
El documento DE 44 37 574 A1, describe la soldadura de un contenedor. En el se describen conductos realizados mediante plegados que son llenados por la masa de precinto durante el cierre con el útil de soldadura.
Tales envases son bien conocidos en la técnica.
El contenedor se realiza generalmente en materia plástica rígida termoformada y el opérculo en materia plástica flexible.
El envasado de los productos consiste en colocarlos en el contenedor, luego en poner el conjunto en un recinto en el cual se realiza el vacío, en colocar el opérculo sobre los productos y sobre el reborde del contenedor, eventualmente en introducir en el contenedor un gas inerte, y por último en formar el cordón de soldadura periférico entre el borde del opérculo y el reborde del contenedor.
Generalmente, estas operaciones se realizan simultáneamente para un conjunto de contenedores unidos entre sí por los bordes exteriores de su reborde. En este caso, los contenedores son liberados unos de otros en el transcurso de una operación ulterior.
Se plantea un problema cuando el producto a envasar comprende elementos susceptibles de soltarse. Es muy particularmente el caso de cuando el producto está constituido por polvo de una materia termofusible tal como queso rallado.
En este caso, en el transcurso de las operaciones, algunos de estos elementos pueden extenderse sobre el reborde del contenedor en el lugar por donde debe pasar el cordón de soldadura.
Este riesgo es tanto más grande cuando la superficie superior del producto sobrepasa del plano de apertura del contenedor.
Se producen entonces defectos de estanqueidad en los lugares donde el cordón de soldadura monta un elemento desplazado. El envase debe entonces ser desechado y su contenido reciclado, lo que grava el coste de fabricación del producto.
La presente invención trata de paliar este inconveniente.
Más particularmente, la invención tiene por objeto proporcionar un envase y sus medios de fabricación con garantía de estanqueidad.
A este respecto, un objeto de la invención es un envase estanco para productos alimentarios según la reivindicación 7.
Un segundo objeto de la invención es un útil de soldadura para el cierre estanco de un envase para productos alimentarios que comprende un contenedor y un opérculo de cierre, caracterizado porque comprende dos labios de soldadura periféricos sustancialmente paralelos que delimitan entre sí una ranura de almacenado y porque en el labio exterior están perforados unos respiraderos.
La ranura de almacenado permite la formación del depósito periférico anteriormente citado.
En un modo de realización particular, los labios de soldadura están separados por una distancia comprendida entre 2 y 10 mm, de preferencia del orden de 5 mm. Igualmente en un modo de realización particular, la ranura tiene una profundidad comprendida entre 0,5 y 5 mm, de preferencia del orden de 2 mm.
Uno al menos de los labios de soldadura puede tener una sección transversal semicircular.
Una sección de este tipo favorece la fluidez de los elementos desplazados por uno u otro lado de la línea de soldadura, es decir bien sea por el exterior del envase, o por dentro del depósito periférico, o en el interior del contenedor.
Así, cuando las soldaduras se realizan al vacío pero cuando el interior del contenedor contiene un gas, y particularmente un gas inerte, la depresión provocada por estos orificios favorece el hinchamiento del opérculo en el interior de la ranura periférica para formar el depósito.
Un tercer objeto de la invención es un procedimiento de soldadura para el cierre estanco de un contenedor provisto de un reborde periférico con la ayuda de un opérculo, caracterizado porque comprende la etapa que consiste en formar simultáneamente dos cordones de soldadura periféricos sustancialmente paralelos entre el reborde y el opérculo.
Se describirá ahora a título de ejemplo no limitativo un modo de realización particular de la invención haciendo referencia a los dibujos esquemáticos adjuntos en los cuales:
- La figura 1 es una vista por encima de un envase según la invención.
- La figura 2 es una vista lateral.
- La figura 3 es una vista por debajo de un útil de soldadura utilizado para el cierre del envase de las figuras 1 y 2.
- La figura 4 es una vista en sección del útil según la línea IV-IV de la figura 3.
- La figura 5 y última, es una vista en sección que ilustra a mayor escala el detalle V de la figura 4 y su modo de funcionamiento.
En las figuras 1 y 2 se muestra un envase para productos alimentarios, destinado por ejemplo a la conservación y comercialización de pizzas espolvoreadas con queso rallado, o cualquier otro producto de este tipo tal como crepes enrollados, bocadillos de jamón y queso, cruasanes, etc.
Este envase está compuesto por un contenedor 1 generalmente cilíndrico que comprende una pared lateral 2 cilíndrica y un fondo 3. La abertura 4 opuesta al fondo 3 está abierta. El contenedor 1 es de material plástico rígido termoformado.
La abertura 4 se cierra mediante un opérculo 5 constituido por una película de materia plástica.
El opérculo 5 está aquí deformado en forma de cúpula bajo el efecto del calor y de la sobrepresión que reina en el contenedor en la colocación del opérculo.
La abertura 4 del contenedor 1 está dotada de un reborde 6 paralelo al fondo 3.
El opérculo 5 está soldado al reborde 6 a lo largo de dos cordones de soldadura paralelos periféricos, un cordón de soldadura exterior 7 y un cordón de soldadura interior 8. Los cordones de soldadura periféricos 7 y 8 son aquí circulares.
Su anchura es por ejemplo del orden de 1,5 mm y su separación de aproximadamente 5 mm.
El reborde 6 tiene una forma generalmente cuadrada con esquinas redondeadas. La película del opérculo 5 presenta en plano la misma forma. Sus esquinas están además soldadas al borde de las esquinas del reborde por unas soldaduras anexas 9 para evitar su levantamiento en el transporte del almacenado. Solo una de las esquinas del opérculo 5, la esquina 10, no está soldada para facilitar su agarre en la apertura del envase.
En las figuras 3 y 4 se aprecia un útil 11 que permite realizar las soldaduras 7 y 8.
Este útil es generalmente plano y comprende cuatro alvéolos 12 en forma de cúpula para cerrar simultáneamente cuatro contenedores 1.
Esta provisto de medios de calentamiento no representados que permiten elevarlo a una temperatura conveniente para la soldadura de la película del opérculo 5 sobre los rebordes 6 de los contenedores 1.
El útil 11 se encuentra además atravesado por canales de aspiración 13 conectados con el interior de las cúpulas 12 por unos orificios 14.
Haciendo ahora referencia a la figura 5, se aprecia que la periferia de una cúpula 12 comprende dos labios de soldadura, a saber un labio exterior 15 y un labio interior 16. Los labios 15 y 16 son circulares y concéntricos.
Los labios 15 y 16 tienen por ejemplo un espesor del orden de 1,5 mm y sus bordes 17 y 18 respectivamente tienen forma de toros de sección semicircular.
La distancia entre los labios 15 y 16 es por ejemplo del orden de 5 mm, y los labios delimitan entre si una ranura 19 cuya profundidad puede ser del orden de 2 mm.
Unos respiraderos 20 están perforados en el labio exterior 15 para permitir el escape del aire en sobrepresión existente en el contenedor.
Para realizar las soldaduras 7 y 8, los rebordes 6 de los contenedores 1 se aplican sobre una superficie conveniente 21 bajo el útil 11.
El opérculo 5 se coloca sobre los contenedores 1 y el útil 11 se baja de forma que los labios 15 y 16 provoquen la soldadura de la película 5 sobre el reborde 6 con los cordones de soldadura 7 y 8.
Si un residuo 22 tal como un trozo de queso rallado se encuentra presente entre el reborde 6 y el opérculo 5 en un emplazamiento de soldadura, el calor lo ablanda o funde y así lo hace fluir, como muestran las flechas 23, hacia el exterior (caso no representado), o hacia el interior del envase, o dentro del depósito formado entre la película del opérculo 5 y el reborde 6 entre los cordones de soldadura 7 y 8.
La formación y el hinchamiento de este depósito se favorecen por la depresión en la ranura 19 provocada por los respiraderos 20.

Claims (7)

1. Procedimiento de cierre de un contenedor (1) realizado en material termoplástico termoformado y provisto de un reborde periférico (6) con la ayuda de un opérculo (5) realizado en material termoplástico flexible, conteniendo el indicado contenedor un producto alimentario que incluye elementos (22) de material termofusible susceptibles de desprenderse, procedimiento que comprende las etapas que consisten en:
- colocar el indicado opérculo sobre el mencionado contenedor;
- formar simultáneamente dos cordones de soldadura periféricos (7, 8) sustancialmente paralelos, entre el reborde y el opérculo, con el fin de formar un depósito entre la película y el reborde, entre los cordones de soldadura; y
- fundir el elemento (22) extendido sobre el reborde del contenedor en el emplazamiento de un cordón de soldadura, y hacer fluir al menos una parte hacia el indicado depósito.
2. Procedimiento de envasado de un producto alimentario que incluye elementos (22) de material termofusible susceptibles de desprenderse, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas que consisten en:
- colocar el indicado producto alimentario en un contenedor (1) realizado en materia termoplástica termoformada y provisto de un reborde periférico;
- cerrar el indicado contenedor por un procedimiento según la reivindicación 1.
3. Útil de soldadura para la realización de un procedimiento según la reivindicación 1 o 2, con dos labios de soldadura periféricos (15, 16) sustancialmente paralelos que delimitan entre si una ranura (19) de almacenado, caracterizado porque en el labio exterior (15) están perforados unos respiraderos (20).
4. Útil según la reivindicación 3, en el cual los labios de soldadura están espaciados una distancia comprendida entre 2 y 10 mm, de preferencia del orden de 5 mm.
5. Útil según la reivindicación 3 o 4, en el cual la ranura (19) tiene una profundidad comprendida entre 0,5 y 5 mm, de preferencia del orden de 2 mm.
6. Útil según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 3 a 5, en el cual uno al menos de los labios de soldadura tiene una sección transversal semicircular.
7. Conjunto constituido por un producto alimentario envasado y su envase, incluyendo el indicado producto alimentario elementos (22) de material termofusible susceptibles de liberarse del mismo, caracterizado porque se obtiene por un procedimiento según la reivindicación 1 o 2.
