LA PRESENTE INVENCION SE REFIERE A CAUCHOS DE NEUMATICOS PREPARADOS MEDIANTE POLIMERIZACION ANIONICA Y QUE ESTAN ACOPLADOS FRECUENTEMENTE CON UN AGENTE ACOPLANTE ADECUADO, TAL COMO UN HALURO DE ESTAÑO, PARA MEJORAR DETERMINADAS PROPIEDADES. SE HAN OBTENIDO, DE FORMA INESPERADA, PROPIEDADES MUY MEJORADAS EN LOS NEUMATICOS DE CAUCHO, TAL COMO UNA MENOR HISTERESIS, MEDIANTE EL ACOPLAMIENTO ASIMETRICO DEL CAUCHO. LA PRESENTE INVENCION DESCRIBE UN PROCESO PARA PREPARAR UN POLIMERO CAUCHOTOSO ASIMETRICAMENTE ACOPLADO AL ESTAÑO QUE COMPRENDE: (1) POLIMERIZACION CONTINUA DE UN MONOMERO DIENICO, EN UN PRIMER REACTOR, PARA LOGRAR UNA CONVERSION DE AL MENOS UN 90 %, UTILIZANDO UN INICIADOR ANIONICO, Y PRODUCCION DE UN CEMENTO POLIMERICO QUE CONTIENE CADENAS DE CAUCHO DE POLIDIENO LATENTES; (2) ALIMENTACION CONTINUA DE DICHO CEMENTO PRODUCIDO A UN SEGUNDO REACTOR; (3) ADICION DE UN HALURO DE ESTAÑO A DICHO CEMENTO EN DICHO SEGUNDO REACTOR BAJO CIERTAS CONDICIONES DE AGITACION, PARA PRODUCIR UN CEMENTOPOLIMERICO CON DICHO HALURO DE ESTAÑO HOMOGENEAMENTE DISPERSO EN SU INTERIOR, SIENDO EL TIEMPO DE RESIDENCIA EN DICHO SEGUNDO REACTOR DE APROX. 15 MINUTOS A APROX. 4 HORAS; (4) ALIMENTACION CONTINUA DE DICHO CEMENTO POLIMERICO CON HALURO DE ESTAÑO DISPERSO EN SU INTERIOR A UN REACTOR DE FLUJO DE TIPO PISTON, CON UN TIEMPO DE RESIDENCIA DE APROX. 15 MINUTOS A APROX. 1 HORA, PARA PRODUCIR UN CEMENTO POLIMERICO COMPUESTO POR DICHO POLIMERO CAUCHOTOSO ASIMETRICAMENTE ACOPLADO CON EL ESTAÑO; (5) EXTRACCION CONTINUA DEL PRODUCTO OBTENIDO EN (4) PROCEDENTE DE DICHO REACTOR DE FLUJO TIPO PISTON. DICHO POLIMERO ASI OBTENIDO PRESENTA ESTABILIDAD MEJORADA CON EL ENVEJECIMIENTO.
