Abstract

Aparato para determinar una propiedad seleccionada de un fluido de interés, que comprende: medios calentadores en comunicación térmica con el fluido de interés, teniendo dichos medios calentadores una resistencia que cambia con la temperatura; medios activadores conectados a dichos medios calentadores para activarlos, proporcionando dichos medios activadores una señal de entrada variable en el tiempo a dichos medios calentadores, para inducir una condición de temperatura elevada transitoria en dichos medios calentadores; por lo que dicha señal de entrada comprende dos o más señales periódicas discretas, cada una de las cuales tiene una frecuencia discreta; medios de salida para proporcionar una señal de salida que está relacionada con la resistencia de dichos medios calentadores; medios para determinar un retardo de fase entre la señal de entrada y la señal de salida para cada una de dichas señales periódicas que tienen dicha frecuencia discreta durante la condición de temperatura elevada transitoria empleando un análisis FFT; y medios de determinación para determinar la propiedad seleccionada del fluido de interés utilizando el retardo de fase.
