LA MEZCLA Y/O LOS MICROAGLOMERADOS SE CALIENTAN EN EL HORNO DE FORJA ROTATORIO PARA REDUCIR AL MENOS LOS OXIDOS DE HIERRO. LOS MICROAGLOMERADOS SON AGLOMERADOS QUE TIENE MENOS DE 1400 MICRAS (Y PREFERENTEMENTE MAS DE 500 MICRAS) DE DIAMETRO. EL PRODUCTO AL MENOS PARCIALMENTE REDUCIDO SE UTILIZA PREFERENTEMENTE EN LA PRODUCCION DE HIERRO METALICO. TAMBIEN SE REIVINDICA UN APARATO PARA REDUCIR AL MENOS PARCIALMENTE OXIDOS DE HIERRO. EL PROCESO PERMITE LA UTILIZACION DEL HORNO DE FORJA ROTATORIO SIN QUE SEA NECESARIA UNA NODULACION DE LOS FINOS DE MINERAL DE HIERRO NI DEL CARBON.
