Abstract

Procédé pour augmenter la densité apparente de la poussière de silice, et diminuer la tendande de celle-ci à la dissémination. La poussière de silice, seule ou en mélange avec d'autres substances, est soumise à un broyage rapide, de préférence dans un broyeur à billes ou à barres. S'applique avantageusement au traitement de la poussière fine que dégagent les fours électriques pendant la fabrication du silicium ou des alliages de silicium.
