Abstract

Procedimiento para la obtención de sales de fosfonio. La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para la obtención de sales de 3, 7, 11-trimetildodeca2, 4, 6, 10-tetraen-1-il-fosfonio. Por regla general se preparan las sales de fosfonio con 15 átomos de carbono para la síntesis de carotinoides a partir de vinilcarbinoles mediante reacción con trifenilfosfano y un ácido fuerte tal como HCl o H2SO4 en disolventes próticos. En contra de lo que ocurre con el vinil-13-ionol, que es un educto empleado para la síntesis de la vitamina A y la 13-carotina, el vinil-pseudoionol únicamente puede hacerse reaccionar a modo educto, para la obtención de licopina bajo estas condiciones normalizadas con malos rendimientos y con bajas selectividades E/Z para dar las correspondientes sales de fosfonio con 15 átomos de carbono.
