Abstract
Procedimiento para la fabricación de una pieza de plástico, en especial de un depósito de carburante para un vehículo de motor, en el que en primer lugar se fabrican a partir de material plástico, por el procedimiento de moldeo por inyección, partes (2, 3, 13, 14, 23, 24) del casco del depósito, y luego se calientan, ensamblándolos a presión entre sí para realizar su unión por soldadura, los bordes de soldadura (4, 5, 15, 16, 27, 28) de las partes del casco del depósito apoyadas una contra otra, en los bordes de soldadura se realizan salientes (8, 9, 29, 30) orientados respectivamente hacia la parte de casco opuesta y se calientan los flancos de los salientes de dos bordes de soldadura que deben ser unidos entre sí, uniéndose por fusión por medio de un elemento de calentamiento (6, 19) colocado en uno de los bordes de soldadura, caracterizado porque el elemento de calentamiento es alimentado con corriente eléctrica por medio de cables de conexión (7).
