Dispositivo para aumentar la seguridad en un vehículo con - una transmisión automática (10, 110) que es solicitada por un controlador eléctrico (16, 116) de la misma, y - un dispositivo de detección (22-30, 120-130) para captar una situación de marcha y generar una señal correspondiente, estando previsto un dispositivo de evaluación que comprueba si la señal generada alcanza un valor determinado o sobrepasa un umbral determinado, y que induce al controlador (16, 116) de la transmisión, al alcanzarse el valor o sobrepasarse el umbral, a interrumpir el acoplamiento de fuerza en la transmisión, caracterizado porque la situación de marcha es un accidente o un proceso de patinamiento.
