Abstract

Consiste en un sistema de pedaleo que hace uso de bielas independientes, de un plato de potencia - que gira en torno a un eje distanciado y paralelo al de pedalier - que va montado - vía rodamiento - sobre un soporte excéntrico fijable a la caja de pedalier, y de un brazo de transferencia que a través del eje de pedalier es solidario con la biela opuesta al lado de los platos: así el par se transmite desde la biela del lado de los platos y desde el brazo de transferencia mediante sendos empujadores conectados a puntos diametralmente opuestos del plato; durante el pedaleo, según baja cada pedal y la bicicleta va tomando inercia, el desarrollo relativo aumenta paulatinamente, y cuando el pedal se aproxima al final de su fase de descenso y va disminuyendo con rapidez la componente tangencial de la fuerza aplicada, es cuando la solicitación de par decrece más rápidamente.
