Abstract
Un proceso para el craquing catalítico selectivo de una o más olefinas, que están en una corriente olefínica que contiene impurezas, en olefinas más ligeras, comprendiendo el proceso la puesta en contacto de una corriente de un stock olefínico de alimentación que contiene por lo menos 100 ppm de nitrógeno, azufre y/o oxígeno, respectivamente, en por lo menos una impureza derivada del azufre, nitrógeno y/o oxígeno, con un catalizador de silicato cristalino del tipo MFI, teniendo el catalizador un ratio atómico silicio/aluminio de 180 a 1000, efectuándose el contacto a una temperatura de entrada de 500 a 600ºC, para producir una corriente efluente que tiene substancialmente el mismo contenido olefínico en peso, pero una diferente distribución de olefinas que la corriente del stock de alimentación.
