Abstract
La invención se refiere a un procedimiento para determinar la posición angular absoluta de un volante de dirección de un vehículo de motor dentro de los 360º; usando un sensor del ángulo de dirección optoelectrónico. El procedimiento comprende los siguientes pasos: irradiación de un codificador (3), configurado como disco acanalado luminoso y que tiene una línea de exploración (8) y una línea de referencia (7), con una fuente de luz (2) para reflejar las líneas (7, 8) sobre la superficie fotosensible de un sensor de líneas (4); durante este paso, la transición de brillo a oscuridad (11, 12) de una pista luminosa (9, 10) se extiende a través varios puntos de la imagen (4''); en segundo lugar, exploración de las pistas luminosas (9, 10) con el sensor de líneas (4); y, finalmente, determinación de la posición angular absoluta del volante de dirección detectando la distancia en subpixeles entre las características correspondientes de la agrupación de señales de la pista luminosa explorada (10)y la pista luminosa de referencia (9) cuando es detectada por el sensor de líneas (4). Un sensor del ángulo de dirección optoelectrico consta de los tres elementos siguientes: primero, un dispositivo con un codificador (3) que está conectado al movimiento giratorio del volante de dirección, y tiene una línea de exploración (8) y una línea de referencia (7). La distancia entre las dos líneas (7, 8) es una medida de la posición angular absoluta del volante de dirección; segundo, una fuente de luz (2) cuya luz irradia un lado del codificador (3); y, finalmente, un sensor de línea estacionario (4) sobre cuya superficie fotosensible las referencias luminosas (9, 10) de la línea de exploración (8) y la línea de referencia (7) se reflejan. Estos tres elementos están dispuestos mutuamente de tal manare que la transición de luz a oscuridad entre la zona iluminada de una pista de luz (9, 10) y las áreas oscuras contiguas se extiende a través de varios puntos reflejados.
