Abstract

Mezcla de los diversos constituyentes de un papel que contiene: (a) un compuesto de aluminio soluble presente en una cantidad de aproximadamente 0,005 a 2,5 kilogramos de Al2O3 por tonelada métrica de papel seco, y (b) un almidón modificado preparado a base de cocer una solución acuosa de al menos un almidón anfótero o catiónico que tiene un grado de sustitución de entre aproximadamente 0,01 y 0,2 con al menos una poliacrilamida no iónica o anfótera o una poliacrilamida catiónica o aniónica que tiene un grado de sustitución de entre un 1% y un 80% en peso y tiene un peso molecular de al menos 500.000, con las condiciones de que: (I) la cocción sea llevada a cabo a un pH de más de 7,0 en caso de que sea seleccionada una poliacrilamida catiónica o no iónica; (II) la cocción produzca una neutralización de no más de un 75% del almidón catiónico en caso de que sea seleccionada una poliacrilamida anfótera; (III) en caso de que seaseleccionada una poliacrilamida aniónica, la cocción produzca una neutralización de no más de un 75% del almidón catiónico si es bajo el peso molecular de la poliacrilamida aniónica, y una neutralización de no más de un 50% del almidón catiónico si es alto el peso molecular de la poliacrilamida aniónica; y (IV) la relación en peso de almidón a poliacrilamida sea de más de aproximadamente 2 a 1.
