Abstract
En un sistema para procesar una corriente de datos digital de entrada, un método para producir una señal de salida codificada como función de un cambio en un parámetro de variable única de dicha señal de entrada, que comprende las etapas de generar un primer bit codificado en ancho de impulso con una duración de un múltiplo de un periodo básico de reloj cuando dicha señal de entrada representa la ausencia de cambios de dicho parámetro; generar un segundo bit codificado en ancho de impulso cuando la señal de entrada representa un primer tipo de cambio en dicho parámetro; y generar un tercer bit codificado en ancho de impulso cuando dicha señal de entrada representa un segundo tipo de cambio en dicho parámetro, siendo dichos primero a tercer bits diferentes los unos de los otros.
