Abstract

Una estructura de electrodo, que comprende un primer componente catalítico y un segundo componente catalítico, donde: (a) dicho primer componente catalítico comprende uno o más electrocatalizador(es) de fórmula Pt-Y, donde Y es MO, W o un óxido de Mo o W, y opcionalmente un tercer componente de metal X, que está aleado con el platino y que es uno o más metales seleccionados del grupo de Ru, Rh, Ti, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Ga, Zr, Hf y Sn, y (b) dicho segundo componente catalítico comprende uno o más electrocatalizador(es) de fórmula PtM, donde M es un metal aleado con el platino y es uno o más metales seleccionados del grupo de Ru, Rh, Ti, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Ga, Zr, Hf y Sn; y donde el primero y segundo componentes catalíticos están en contacto iónico entre sí.
