EL PROCESO DE FERMENTACION SE REALIZA BAJO ESTRICTO CONTROL DEL FOSFATO SOLUBLE EN EL MEDIO, TANTO AL COMIENZO COMO A LO LARGO DEL PROCESO. PUEDEN UTILIZARSE COMO FUENTES DE CARBONO LIPIDOS, PREFERENTEMENTE TRIGLICERIDOS. SE OBTIENEN INCREMENTOS SUSTANCIALES EN LA PRODUCCION DE ANTIBIOTICOS.
