Abstract
Guía de onda de fibra óptica donde se modula el índice de refracción de una sección de la misma para formar una rejilla con una pluralidad de canales de longitud de onda de reflexión característicos, en la que la modulación del índice de refracción comprende una modulación de amplitud que presenta: una componente subyacente de frecuencia sustancialmente más alta que define la forma del perfil de reflexión de cada uno de los canales de longitud de onda; una componente de frecuencia sustancialmente más baja que impone envolventes repetidas a la componente de frecuencia más alta y que define la separación de los canales de longitud de onda, siendo la forma de la envolvente de la componente de frecuencia más baja tal que imparte una respuesta sustancialmente igual a cada uno de los canales de longitud de onda, caracterizada por el hecho de que la pluralidad de canales de longitud de onda se encuentra limitada a un número finito de los mismos; y de que existencambios de fase discretos de sustancialmente pi (figura 7) por lo menos entre las envolventes adyacentes de la componente de frecuencia más baja.
