Abstract

"GUIA DE ONDA DE FIBRA óTICA" Uma fibra ótica, uma seção de comprimento (L~ gr~) que é modulada de modo a formar uma grade com uma pluralidade de canais de comprimento de onda de reflexão característico, possui uma modulação de índice de refração compreendendo uma modulação de amplitude possuindo uma componente de maior frequência subjacente definindo a forma do perfil de reflexão de cada um dos canais de comprimento de onda e, superposta a ela, uma componente de menor frequência de período P impondo repetidos envelopes sobre a componente de maior frequência e definindo a separação dos canais de comprimento de onda. Em uma configuração, a componente de menor frequência possui a forma de uma função-sinc com índices de refração variáveis (<sym>n) e com mudanças de fase-<227> discretas (<sym><237>) de cada envelope, para formar uma grade sinc-amostrada. Grades de fibra ótica multi-canal chilreadas podem ser providas, assim, para compensação de dispersão em enlaces de transmissão de transporte longo.
