Abstract

Procedimiento para la determinación de la cantidad de combustible que se encuentra en el depósito de combustible de un automóvil, presentando el depósito de combustible un depósito (34) principal de reserva que está provisto con un medidor (56) de nivel para la determinación del combustible que se encuentra en él, y una reserva (12) que tiene un volumen esencialmente menor en comparación con el depósito (34) principal de reserva, y que está cerrado en sí mismo, y se suministra con combustible por una bomba (38) desde el depósito (34) principal de reserva, caracterizado porque el volumen residual de combustible que se encuentra en cada caso en el depósito de combustible, se calcula de la mano del consumo de combustible, calculándose la cantidad residual de combustible que todavía se encuentra en la reserva (12) después del vaciado del depósito (34) principal de reserva, como diferencia de un volumen definido de la reserva (12) y el consumo de combustible acumulado por adición durante el tiempo, y porque la señal para el establecimiento del momento en el que comienza la determinación de la cantidad residual en la reserva (12) mediante el cálculo del consumo, se dispara en función del descenso por debajo de un determinado nivel de llenado en la reserva (12).
