Abstract

Método y sistema para monitorear un nivel de combustible líquido en un tanque que tiene una capacidad conocida , donde el tanque se comunica por una corriente de fluido con una canería de suministro de combustible a través de la cual se suministra el combustible en forma gaseosa. El método comprende los pasos de medir un caudal del combustible gaseoso que fluye a través de la canería de suministro; calcular un volumen de combustible consumido sobre la base del caudal medido, y determinar un nivel de combustible líquido restante en el tanque sobre la base del volumen de combustible consumido y la capacidad del tanque. Se solicita una entrega de combustible líquido al tanque en respuesta al nivel de combustible líquido restante.
