Dispositivo de seguridad para un engranaje (15) accionado por un accionamiento (21), ¿ con un elemento de accionamiento (24) y con un elemento de transmisión de salida (14), ¿ con un dispositivo de engranaje (25) para la transmisión del par de giro, situado entre el elemento de accionamiento (24) y el elemento de transmisión de salida (14), ¿ con un disco (32) de rueda en el lado del accionamiento y con un cubo (28) como parte del lado de transmisión de salida del dispositivo de engranaje (25), ¿ con un punto de rotura nominal (33), configurado como punto de debilitamiento de la sección transversal entre el cubo (28) y la circunferencia del disco (32) de la rueda del dispositivo de engranaje (25), así como ¿ con un mecanismo de bloqueo por apriete (47), con el cual se puede bloquear fijamente la parte (28) del lado de transmisión de salida del engranaje, separada por un corte de separación del punto de rotura nominal (33), directamente en una carcasa (18)del engranaje (15), caracterizado porque: ¿ en el disco (32) de la rueda está configurado, en el lado de accionamiento del punto de rotura nominal (33), por lo menos un travesaño (39) que sobresale axialmente y puede ser desviado radialmente; ¿ en el disco (32) de la rueda o en el cubo (28) está configurado en el lado de transmisión de salida del punto de rotura nominal (33) por lo menos un anillo con levas (45) con forma excéntrica; ¿ el anillo con levas (45), situado junto al travesaño (39) en el mismo lado del disco (32) de la rueda, está desplazado en el sentido de la circunferencia respecto al travesaño (39) y tiene una extensión radial máxima, que es mayor que la distancia radial desde el travesaño (39) hasta el eje (36) del dispositivo de engranaje (25); ¿ el travesaño (39) y el anillo con levas (45) están rodeados con poco juego radial por la pared (41) de una escotadura (40) cilíndrica circular de la carcasa (18), que no puede girar respecto al dispositivo de engranaje (25); ¿ el engranaje (15) está configurado en forma autoblocante en el lado de accionamiento.
