Abstract
Método para preparar un objeto alargado que tenga una rigidez a la flexión relativamente alta, como una tubería o cable alargado, antes de almacenar y/o transportar dicho objeto, caracterizado por el hecho de que a) el objeto alargado está dotado con la capacidad del otabilidad suficiente para permitir otar al objeto sobre un líquido con una gravedad específica predeterminada y que b) el objeto alargado mientras ota sobre el líquido y es transportado, se enrolla en espiral en una espiral de monoestrato plano sin bobina u otro soporte usando medios de guía para definir la forma de la espiral, cuyo radio interior está en el orden del diámetro transversal del cuerpo alargado dividido por: en el caso de materiales elásticos; el límite de elasticidad del material más fundamental en el cuerpo alargado, en caso de materiales quebradizos: la proporción de fractura del material más fundamental en el cuerpo alargado.
