Vacuum evaporation of purines with reduction of ammonia emission comprises stripping and fixing by acidification, to give 20-30 % solid concentration and drying to maximum 12 % moisture content. Also claimed is apparatus implementing the process. An Independent claim is also included for apparatus with an evaporator and dryer powered by a thermal power station.
