Abstract

A general purpose fertiliser comprises an intimate mixture, in parts by weight, of 8 to 30 % of dried protein-rich manure, 20 to 70 % of basic phosphate, 5 to 15 % of a water-soluble potash compound, 0.2 to 0.75 % of ferric ethylene diamino dihydroxy phenyl acetate, or a comparable pH lowering and iron-release agent (FED), and 15 to 70 % of a dilutant material comprising sand and/or peat.
