LA SUPERFICIE INTERIOR DE LOS TUBOS DE HORNO DE ETILENO SE RECUBREN POR DIFUSION CON UNA CANTIDAD SUFICIENTE DE CROMO O CROMO O SILICIO SUFICIENTE COMO PARA FORMAR UN PRIMER RECUBRIMIENTO QUE TIENE UN ESPESOR DE AL MENOS DOS MILIMETROS. ESTE RECUBRIMIENTO SE LIMPIA A CONTINUACION, SE NEUTRALIZA Y SE LIMPIA CON UN CHORRO DE GRANALLA. A CONTINUACION SE DIFUNDE UNA SEGUNDA CUBIERTA CON UNA CANTIDAD SUFICIENTE DE ALUMINIO O ALUMINIO Y SILICIO SOBRE LA PRIMERA CUBIERTA PARA FORMAR UNA CUBIERTA CON UN ESPESOR TOTAL DE AL MENOS CINCO MILIMETROS.
