LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCEDIMIENTO Y A UN APARATO MEJORADO PARA REDUCIR LA CONCENTRACION DE OXIDOS DE NITROGENO EN LOS GASES DE ESCAPE PRODUCIDOS POR LA COMBUSTION DE COMBUSTIBLE CARBONACEO EN UNIDADES DE COMBUSTION QUE TIENEN UN HORNO CON UN LECHO FLUIDO DE MATERIALES SOLIDOS EN EL MISMO. LOS GASES PRODUCIDOS DENTRO DEL HORNO FLUYEN PRINCIPALMENTE HACIA ARRIBA EN EL INTERIOR DEL HORNO. SE RECUPERA EL CALOR DE LOS GASES CALIENTES Y DEL MATERIAL SOLIDO CALIENTE MEDIANTE SUPERFICIES DE TRANSFERENCIA DE CALOR DISPUESTAS DENTRO DEL HORNO. SE INTRODUCE UN AGENTE REDUCTOR DE LOS OXIDOS DE NITROGENO DENTRO DEL HORNO A TRAVES DE MEDIOS DE INYECCION INTEGRALMENTE CONECTADOS CON LA SUPERFICIES DE TRANSFERENCIA DE CALOR, PARA MANTENER LA TEMPERATURA DEL AGENTE REDUCTOR A UN NIVEL SUFICIENTEMENTE BAJO DURANTE LA INTRODUCCION DEL MISMO Y PARA MEZCLARLO EFICIENTEMENTE LOS GASES CALIENTES QUE FLUYEN PRINCIPALMENTE HACIA LA PARTE SUPERIOR.
