Abstract

Sistema de transporte urbano de compuesto por autobuses eléctricos alimentados por baterías que se recargan durante las paradas. Los autobuses llevan instalado en sus techos un trole cuya posición es controlada por un sensor que detecta la llegada a las paradas del recorrido y la partida desde las mismas, ordenando al motor que mueve el trole el respectivo despliegue o repliegue del mismo para contactar un tendido eléctrico aéreo de corta longitud instalado sobre las mismas. Gracias a esta recarga frecuente pueden emplearse motores más potentes con baterías de menor capacidad, que tienen bajo peso y pequeño tamaño, lo cual aligera el vehículo que las transporta y mejora sus prestaciones. El sistema puede complementarse con paneles solares sobre los vehículos y con tendidos eléctricos de mayor longitud instalados sobre las zonas del recorrido que el autobús deba recorrer cuesta arriba.
