Abstract

Método y aparato para producir electricidad, según la presente invención, un método y un aparato destinados a producir electricidad desde un combustible hidrocarburo y vapor de agua calentado en un modificador solar para formar hidrógeno y monóxido de carbono. El método comprende las fases siguientes: suministrar hidrógeno y monóxido de carbono desde dicho modificador solar a un generador de vapor para producir vapor e hidrógeno y monóxido de carbono sin calor; suministrar gases de escape desde el escape de una turbina de gas a dicho generador de vapor; suministrar dicho vapor a un supercalentador para producir calor supercalentado; suministrar dicho hidrógeno y monóxido de carbono sin calor desde dicho generador de vapor a un precalentador para precalentar dicho combustible hidrocarburo antes de suministrar el combustible hidrocarburo a dicho modificador solar y producir combustible hidrocarburo precalentado y más hidrógeno y monóxido de carbono sin calor; añadir dicho vapor supercalentadoa dicho combustible hidrocarburo precalentado antes de suministrar dicho combustible hidrocarburo precalentado a dicho modificador solar; y suministrar dicho toro hidrógeno y monóxido de carbono sin calor a una central eléctrica de ciclo Rankine para producir electricidad e hidrógeno y monóxido de carbono enfriados y secados. Además, la presente invención incluye proporcionar un aparato para realizar las fases del método anteriormente citado de la presente invención.
