DICHA MEZCLA ESTABLE ESTA FORMADA AL MENOS POR UNA BASE DE MANNICH Y UN COMPUESTO DE POLIAMINA, SE APLICA A UN SUSTRATO Y ENDURECE A ELEVADAS TEMPERATURAS CON EL FIN DE QUE SE EFECTUE EL INTERCAMBIO Y LA LIBERACION DE GRUPOS AMINICOS PROCEDENTES DE LA BASE DE MANNICH POR PARTE DEL COMPUESTO DE POLIAMINA. DICHA BASE DE MANNICH ES UN PRODUCTO DE REACCION DE AL MENOS: AI) UN COMPUESTO FENOLICO, AII) UN ALDEHIDO Y AIII) UNA AMINA SECUNDARIA, TAL QUE CADA GRUPO AROMATICO DE LA BASE DE MANNICH TENGA AL MENOS DOS GRUPOS AMINO TERCIARIOS UNIDOS MEDIANTE RESIDUOS DE ALDEHIDO A CADA CICLO AROMATICO DE DICHO COMPUESTO FENOLICO. DICHO COMPUESTO DE POLIAMINA ES UN PRODUCTO DE LA REACCION DE AIV) UNA AMINA PRIMARIA QUE PUEDE CONTENER OPCIONALMENTE GRUPOS AMINO SECUNDARIOS Y AV) UN COMPUESTO EPOXI QUE CONTIENE AL MENOS UN GRUPO 1,2 - EPOXI POR MOLECULA. EL REVESTIMIENTO DESCRITO SE ENDURECE RAPIDAMENTE, ES PERDURABLE Y DURO, DEBIDO A QUE EL PESO EQUIVALENTE DE DICHO COMPUESTO DE POLIAMINA AUMENTA CON LA PRESENCIA DE DICHOS COMPUESTOS EPOXIDICOS, AL MISMO TIEMPO QUE AUMENTA EL NUMERO DISPONIBLE DE SITIOS DE RETICULACION DE AMINAS.
