LA UNIDAD INCLUYE UNA RESERVA DE FLUIDO PORTADOR Y UNA BOMBA PORTADORA PARA GENERAR UN FLUJO DE FLUIDO PORTADOR A TRAVES DEL CANAL DE FLUJO. MEDIANTE DIALISIS A TRAVES DE LA MEMBRANA, EL FLUJO DE UN FLUIDO PORTADOR ES TRANSFORMADO EN UN FLUJO DE FLUIDO DE MUESTRA. UN DISPOSITIVO DE DETECCION SE ACOPLA PARA DETECTAR UNA ANALITA EN EL FLUIDO DE MUESTRA Y PARA GENERAR UNA SEÑAL DE DETECCION CORRESPONDIENTE. UN LIQUIDO DE MUESTRA EFLUENTE ES RECIBIDO EN UNA RESERVA DE RESIDUOS. EL FLUJO DE VOLUMEN MEDIO DURANTE LA OPERACION ES MENOR QUE 100 {MI}L/MIN, PERMITIENDO AL MENOS 30 DIAS DE OPERACION ININTERRUMPIDA.
